Piano Teacher

About the role

The National Music & Global Culture Society (NMGCS) is seeking professional pianists with teaching experience to join the Founding Faculty of the ONE CHILD Scholarship Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one piano lessons to elementary school students at P.S. 55 Benjamin Franklin School in the Bronx on Saturdays during the 2026–2027 school year.
• Teach students ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade.
• Work independently and be reliable.
• Show strong communication skills suitable for working with children.
• Interest in one-on-one instruction with elementary school students.

Requirements

• Professional pianist with teaching experience.
• Experience working with children preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.

Skills

• One-on-one teaching ability.
• Ability to work with young students.

Pay

$50 per hour.

Schedule
