Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day policy service tasks by reviewing requests, updating records, and coordinating next steps with accuracy and urgency.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist with service inquiries, provide updates, and gather missing information needed to complete work.
- Use internal computer systems, external websites, and partner platforms to process transactions and maintain current account information.
- Monitor work queues and planning schedules to keep assignments moving efficiently and within expected timeframes.
- Communicate with insurance carriers and business partners to resolve discrepancies, clarify policy details, and address outstanding deficiencies.
- Document all interactions, service activity, and follow-up actions clearly to support visibility and continuity across the team.
- Review submissions and account records for completeness, escalating exceptions or unresolved issues when additional support is needed.
- Contribute to service process consistency by following established procedures and adapting to updates in systems or workflow requirements.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, partners, and carriers.
- Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a structured, service-focused environment.
- Comfort handling both inbound and outbound calls as part of daily responsibilities.
- Proficiency using computer systems, web-based tools, and multiple applications at the same time.
- Ability to identify missing information, track deficiencies, and follow through to resolution.
- Familiarity with insurance carrier interactions or property and casualty service support is preferred.
- Exposure to platforms such as Paychex or About Time is helpful.
- Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for prolonged periods as required by the role.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance service operations, with experience in managing policy service tasks, handling customer inquiries, and communicating with insurance carriers and partners. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.

Pay
