About the Role

Coordinate trauma patient safety and quality improvement processes, managing multidisciplinary trauma peer reviews, tracking and trending complications, and identifying system and provider issues. Maintain relevant data and files while demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness, and knowledge of trauma standards and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate trauma quality improvement processes
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance patient safety and outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with trauma standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manage multidisciplinary trauma peer reviews
  • Track and trend complications and adverse events
  • Maintain accurate and organized data and files

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of clinical trauma nursing experience (e.g., emergency, OR, ICU)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing and active RN licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Understanding of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles and tools (preferred)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data management
  • Preferred: CPHQ certification or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
