Core Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical physics support, including oversight of advanced treatments such as SBRT and IMRT/IGRT.
- Pre-treatment and weekly chart checks.
- Acceptance testing and commissioning.
- Routine quality assurance.
Workplace Environment
This position will be based at one of our regional cancer centers, which is equipped with a state-of-the-art linear accelerator capable of supporting advanced special procedures such as SBRT. While your primary responsibility will be to support the regional site, you will also work closely with colleagues across all UNC-Rex Cancer Centers.

Education Requirements
Master's degree in Medical Physics, Physics or related field.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Certified by American Board of Radiology.
Experience Requirements
- Three (3) years of clinical experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledgeable about medical physics principles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
