About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Physicist - Radiation Oncology - Full Time to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the clinical practice of 10 physicians in radiation oncology
  • Engage in machine calibrations and equipment quality assurance (QA)
  • Conduct treatment planning using Eclipse, Brainlab, and related systems
  • Perform dosimetry measurements and calculations
  • Involve in brachytherapy and ensure radiation safety
  • Participate in teaching within the CAMPEP-accredited residency program

Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in physics, medical physics or related field
  • State Licensed medical physicist or eligible for licensing
  • ABR certification

Preferred

  • 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology Physics
  • Experience with Gamma Knife and Varian TrueBeam

Location: the company, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $233,000 – $279,600 annually
