Physicist
Job Summary
Aid in developing and implementing radiation dose specifications protocols to comply with national and state regulations. Implement quality assurance programs and dosimetric verification procedures for patients receiving treatments. Participate in the installation and commissioning of new machines/systems. Maintain a comprehensive dosimetric database for clinical use. Perform all aspects of external beam treatment planning, brachytherapy applications, and Ethos adaptive therapy procedures. Execute MR-LINAC adaptive therapy procedures, including preparing independent MR-LINAC-based advanced treatment plans. Ensure treatment planning hardware systems (Unix & PC, printers, scanners) are available and reliable. Support treatment planning software applications and collaborate with physicists to design and develop treatment planning software tools for external beam therapy, SRS & SRT, brachy therapy, etc.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in medical physics from a CAMPEP-approved program
- No experience required

- Location: Onsite at 45 Francis Street
