Physician - Virtual Health Assessment - Bilingual in Spanish (Part-time)
About the role
This is a remote, part-time position, 20+ hours weekly.
Hours of Operation
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 8pm EST
- Friday & Saturday 8am - 6pm EST
Requirements
- Provide 20-29 hours of coverage per week.
- Minimum shift length is 4 hours
Responsibilities
- Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
- Provide medical care virtually (by phone, video, & message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
- Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Fully fluent in Spanish
- Must be licensed for full practice in TN and at least two of the following: MO, MS, AL, FL
- Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor
- 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice
- Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles
- Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement
Bonus points
- 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
- IMLCC compact Physician license or eligible to apply
- Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
Pay Transparency
The base pay for this role is: $90 - $118 per hour.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
