Physician - Vascular Surgeon

About the role

Join our growing hospital employed Vascular Surgery department at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join our current team of 3 vascular surgeons and 3 APCs.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient clinic care with bread-and-butter procedures as well as complex aortic, peripheral, and carotid surgery
• Supported with state-of-the-art operating rooms, perioperative facilities, and interventional vascular labs
• Average of 1,500 cases annually for both open and endovascular procedures with the opportunity for growth and clinical service development
• Contained within RiverBend, with onsite clinics, cath labs, and open hybrid ORs
• Vascular surgery clinic with 12 exam rooms, a dedicated vascular ultrasound technician, and procedure room for venous procedures

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in vascular surgery
• Experience in complex aortic, peripheral, and carotid surgery
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art operating rooms, perioperative facilities, and interventional vascular labs

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current medical license in good standing
• Completion of a residency program in general surgery and a fellowship program in vascular surgery

• Strong surgical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other specialists
