About the role

This Urologist position offers full-time direct patient care, with approximately 95% of the time dedicated to this activity. The contractor is responsible for providing professional urology services, including surgeries, consultations, cystoscopies, and other related urology procedures. The Urologist is expected to be present on time for scheduled clinics and surgeries, as documented by their physical presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical urology services including surgeries, consultations, cystoscopies, and other related urology procedures.
• Be present on time for any scheduled clinics/surgeries as documented by physical presence in the clinic or operating room at the scheduled start time.
• Provide direct patient care including specialty exams such as compensation and pension, agent orange, etc., as it pertains to urological conditions only.
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• On-call hours: Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; weekends: Saturday 7:30 a.m. to Sunday 7:30 a.m. and/or Sunday 7:30 a.m. to Monday 7:30 a.m.; holidays: 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
• Physicians must carry a pager or cell phone at all times while on-call.
• On-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site, within 60 minutes.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
• Completed a Residency or Fellowship in Urology
• Any State License
• BLS, ACLS
