Physician- Trauma Surgery - per diem
PeaceHealth Medical Center at RiverBend Trauma Surgery department is seeking per diem Trauma Surgeons to support our Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patients. RiverBend is a tertiary care center with an ACS Level II Trauma center designation, serving a large catchment area along the Oregon coast and southern Oregon.
About the Role
- Work with a team of 8 Surgeons and 5 APCs to coordinate and share the workload.
- Blend of Trauma, General Surgery, and ICU responsibilities.
- 12-hour shifts with backup Trauma Surgeon support and in-house Trauma surgical coverage.
Location
The communities of Springfield and Eugene are located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, known as Oregon wine country. The area features the Willamette and McKenzie Rivers, offering outdoor activities like biking, walking, running, and fishing. Eugene is home to the University of Oregon, while Springfield boasts a flourishing downtown with a growing culinary scene. The region is 90 minutes south of Portland and one hour from the Oregon coast, providing a desirable Pacific Northwest lifestyle.
