About the role

Mercy Clinic in Joplin, Missouri is seeking a full-time, BE/BC Trauma Surgeon to join their established practice. The position will work alongside three other Trauma Surgeons at Mercy Hospital Joplin.

Responsibilities

  • Trauma and Acute Care Surgery only, no elective surgery
  • Work 7-8, 24-hour shifts per month in 1-week increments
  • $470K guarantee plus $50K incentives and $10K relocation assistance
  • Occurrence-based malpractice insurance
  • EPIC EHR throughout the entire Mercy system

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Trauma Surgery
  • Current Missouri Medical License
  • Experience in Level II Trauma care
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of trauma surgery experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for patient-centered care
