Physician Senior Primary Care

About the role

As a Physician in Senior Primary Care within our Intermountain Health (Las Vegas Area) Medical Group, you will join a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role you will approximately 16 patients per day for annual wellness checks, identification and treatment of chronic conditions, diagnostic testing, laboratory services and immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 16 patients per day for annual wellness checks, identification and treatment of chronic conditions, diagnostic testing, laboratory services and immunizations.
• Practice at an Intermountain Health Primary Care Clinic.
• Your weekly schedule will be 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts.
• No nights, weekends or hospital call required.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in primary care.
• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one.

Preferences

• Experience in managed care and/or geriatric care.
• Fluency in Medical Spanish preferred (not required).

Pay

The annual base salary is $260,000.00 / Year. Starting incentive is $60,000.00. Relocation of up to $20,000.00 for eligible household moves. Quality Incentives start at $30,000.00 / Year.

Schedule

Your weekly schedule will be 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts. No nights, weekends or hospital call required.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $7.25 - $999.99.
