Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases.

Essential Functions

  • Contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the division.
  • Clinical/patient care responsibilities will include general infectious disease consultations and ambulatory clinics.
  • Duties will also encompass an active role in departmental fellowship programs, resident and medical student teaching.
  • Teaching duties will include precepting of fellows, medical students and/or residents in your office-based practice as well as providing lectures or leading small group discussions as part of the COM or residency curriculum, clinical case conferences, core curricula and journal clubs.

Minimum Requirements

  • MD or DO degree prior to effective date of appointment.
  • Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases as defined by ACGME.
  • Completion of a 3-year Internal Medicine residency and completion of 2-year Infectious Disease fellowship training.
  • Current State of Ohio medical license.
