Physician (Rheumatology) – Full-Time

Full-Time Rheumatologist sought to deliver comprehensive patient care across multiple VA sites. Responsibilities Include Providing and coordinating rheumatology services for inpatient and outpatient cases.Clear communication and documentation with patients and staff.Supervising and educating midlevel providers, residents, and fellows.Performing and interpreting procedures such as arthrocentesis, EKGs, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.Participating in quality assurance, meetings, educational activities, research, and process improvements. Qualifications And Skills MD/DO with fellowship training in Rheumatology.Board certification or eligibility (ABIM preferred).Unrestricted medical license in the U.S.Completion of accredited residency in a core specialty.Experience in multi-site or complex health systems and leadership skills.Sleep Medicine training is desirable but not required. Additional Details Academic appointment at a medical school, with protected time for teaching and research.Salary range: $260,000-$315,000, with bonuses and benefits.Benefits include retirement plans, health insurance, paid time off, CME reimbursement, malpractice coverage, and flexible work schedule.No employment contract or moonlighting restrictions.
