Physician – Rheumatology

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist. The position is based in clinics on the North Shore of New Orleans within St. Tammany Parish and includes infusion suites at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Clinics are located on the North Shore of New Orleans within St. Tammany Parish
• Infusion suites located within Slidell Memorial Hospital
• No hospital call required
• Integrated practice model with strong, internal referral network
• Complement services immediately offered at regional clinic health centers with Lab, diagnostic and outpatient surgical services offered
• Support available from specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System
• EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System
• Tort reform state

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Rheumatology
• Experience in managing a variety of rheumatic diseases
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a busy caseload
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
