Physician Rheumatology

About the role

Located in Laurel, Mississippi – a town featured on HGTV's top-rated programs with a growing downtown retail economy and strong industrial base – this hospital‑employed position launches a new rheumatology service line. You will have the opportunity to hire two rheumatologists to build the practice, provide teaching duties for internal medicine residents with an academic affiliation, and work alongside a Clinic Director, Clinic Manager, and full clinic staff. There is no call to start, and Sovereign Immunity protections apply.

Responsibilities

• Launch and develop a new rheumatology service line
• Recruit and hire two additional rheumatologists to expand the practice
• Provide teaching duties for internal medicine residents (academic affiliation)
• Collaborate with Clinic Director, Clinic Manager, and clinic staff
• Ensure compliance with Sovereign Immunity protections; no call required

Schedule
