Physician Rheumatologist - Brimhall CHC

About the role

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Physician Rheumatologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care in diagnosing and managing patients with rheumatic diseases and autoimmune disorders, working collaboratively with our licensed independent providers, clinical pharmacists, and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient consultation and management of patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, osteoporosis).
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies, to guide treatment decisions.
• Perform joint aspirations, injections, and other rheumatologic procedures as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Refer patients to other specialists as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, clinical pharmacists, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with CSV policies and federal regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Rheumatology.
• Experience in managing rheumatic and autoimmune conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate patient needs.

Pay

$345,000 - $380,000 Base salary (Commensurate with experience)
