Physician Rheumatologist
About the role
As part of our Internal Medicine team, you will join three rheumatologists and a nurse practitioner in managing a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient consults and field clinics throughout Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Manage a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient consults and field clinics throughout Alaska
- Work closely with other specialists and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in research and education initiatives related to rheumatology
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Rheumatology
- Current license to practice medicine in Alaska
- Experience working with Alaska Native and American Indian populations preferred
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to a remote work environment

- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- No afterhours call for clinic
