Summary
As a face of the organization for UCHealth, the Senior Physician Relations Representative is a dynamic networker and dedicated relationship-builder. This role demands excellent communication skills across all mediums - verbal, nonverbal, and written. This individual excels at problem solving, and fosters positive connections with excellent customer service skills. They are adaptable to evolving situations and operate as a motivated self-starter, proactively driving initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Identifies appropriate prospects, delivers designed messaging in a timely manner, organizes meetings between referral sources and hospital affiliated providers, coordinates access to hospital services and verifies physician satisfaction with the outcome of referrals.
- Promotes new and existing programs, services and providers to the referring community both locally and regionally.
- Implements physician relations activities which include 1:1 visits, educational events, focus groups, continuing medical education and social events.
- Develops and implements creative tactical outreach initiatives and specific growth goals for multiple service lines or programs.
- Establishes new business growth opportunities, develops successful marketing materials.
- Identifies service issues and communicates operational image issues that impede physician referrals or patient and physician satisfaction.
- Responsible for a large number of service lines or projects.
- Mentors other representatives to provide education, support, and guidance.
- Participates in performance improvement, quality improvement and patient safety activities.
- Assists in maintaining compliance with Joint Commission accreditation and other regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years' experience working with physicians in sales, business development or referral development.
