About the role

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a full-time BE/BC dual-boarded Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiologist to join a successful established practice in Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, high-quality patient care in a collegial and collaborative environment.
  • Coverage for general Nuclear Medicine, cardiac scintigraphy, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and radiopharmaceutical therapies.
  • Participation in training programs at two of the acute care facilities.
  • Voluntary remote shifts in radiology or PET/CT.
  • Evening call in shared rotation up until 10 pm, teleradiology service provides preliminary interpretations overnight.
  • Weekend and holiday day coverage in shared rotation.
  • Productivity coverage for multidisciplinary conferences and tumor board.

Requirements

  • Medical Board of California: Active license or eligible to obtain prior to employment.
  • ABNM/ABR Board Certification: Dedicated training in Nuclear Medicine including board certification by ABNM and ABR or ABR/NR with ABNM eligibility.
  • ACLS Certification: Active or obtained prior to employment.
  • Desirable to have postgraduate professional experience in Nuclear Medicine including general Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and theranostics.
  • Authorized User or have qualifying credentials to become an Authorized User.

Qualifications
