Physician Radiation Oncologist

About the role

The Heimann Cancer Center at Asante’s Medford location is a state-of-the-art facility designed to improve the patient experience and access to care. It features two linear accelerators on-site, full suite of SBRT and linac-based SRS, in-house medical oncology, on-site pharmacy, advanced imaging, and laboratories. There are expanded support services including nurse navigators, counseling, and survivorship resources. The center also has a dedicated on-site physics team and hybrid on-site dosimetry.

Responsibilities

• Practice in a modern, patient-centered cancer program that integrates the latest in radiation therapy with comprehensive oncology services.
• Collaborate with the Spears Cancer Center in Grants Pass, which houses two additional linear accelerators and mirrors the advanced treatment capabilities.
• Work within a comprehensive oncology team that values innovation, quality, and collaboration.
• Participate in a robust infrastructure supporting clinical excellence and multidisciplinary care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited program.
• Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
• Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid and other federal programs.
