Physician Quality Lead – Genesis HIV/Hepatitis

About the role

Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in New York City, Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester. We are seeking a Physician Lead of Genesis Quality to oversee HIV/Hepatitis, STI, Tuberculosis, and PREP care in Patchogue, Amityville, and Brentwood.

Responsibilities

• Provide Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine care for patients with HIV/Hepatitis/STI.
• Participate in Tuberculosis care in collaboration with local DOH.
• Participate in Case Conference with care managers.
• Help with other general outpatient infectious disease referrals.
• Work collaboratively with other Internal medicine, family medicine, women’s health, MD, NP and PA’s.
• Oversee quality of the Infectious Disease programs.
• Assist during AIDS institute and Ryan white grant audits.
• Supervise residents who may be interested in an elective rotation on occasion.
• Schedule 4 Days Clinical: Patchogue - 2 days a week, Amityville - 1 day a week, Brentwood - 1 day a week, 1 Day Admin - Remote.

Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Active/Valid license as a MD or DO in New York State, DEA, Board certification

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Leadership Experience in Infectious Disease specialty
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient population in community health setting

Pay

$216,580.00 - $242,442.20
