Physician - Psychiatry Moonlighting
Job Overview
Fairview is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join their team at Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Practice Details
Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry
Shift Structure: 8-hour moonlighting shifts at $200/hour with optional 16-hour off-premise call slots available at $45/hr
Call Coverage: Includes daytime call coverage and overnight/remote call, integrated into the hospital’s built-in coverage model
Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage treatment plans, prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, collaborate on treatment decisions, participate in crisis stabilization, and coordinate care transitions
Documentation: Complete timely and accurate documentation, including coding and billing
Policies: Adhere to medical staff bylaws and maintain compliance with organizational policies and standards

EHR training in WellSky
Behavioral health team orientation
Supportive credentialing timeline and structured reporting
Ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams

Compensation Disclaimer
The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
