About the role
Hospital-employed position within an academic medical center setting.
Consult on medically complex patients across internal medicine, surgery, multiple ICUs, and OB-GYN.
Collaborative interdisciplinary model with medical and surgical teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultation to medically complex patients across various specialties.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including medical and surgical staff.
- Participate in academic activities and teaching.
Requirements
- Fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry preferred.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry required.
- Prior academic faculty experience and commitment to teaching preferred.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice psychiatry in the state of New York.
Skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in academic medicine and teaching.
