About the role
We're seeking a mission-driven Physician to join Curana Health and make a meaningful impact in an Inpatient Rehabilitation facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based inpatient rehabilitation care, including completing admission history and physicals and conducting daily rounds for all assigned patients.
- Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) conferences, collaborating with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, case management, and nursing to drive individualized rehabilitation goals.
- Manage complex medical needs of rehab patients, ensuring compliance with CMS Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) admission criteria and documentation requirements.
- Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage patient visits and ensure continuity and clinical excellence across the patient census.
- Oversee APP performance, serving as a mentor and resource to elevate care delivery across your team.
- Close quality gaps when prompted, driving measurable improvements in functional outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advocate for patients, championing their recovery goals and care preferences throughout their stay.
- Represent Curana Health's mission and values as a clinical leader and ambassador in the facility you serve.

Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
- Active DEA License.
- Proficiency with EMR.
