Physician - Primary Care

About the role

The Primary Care Physician will join AtlantiCare's multi-specialty group, contributing to practices that are moving towards the patient-centered medical home model. This includes offering same- or next-day urgent appointments, using electronic medical records, and collaborating with AtlantiCare's care managers and hospitalists.

Responsibilities

• Offering same- or next-day urgent appointments
• Using electronic medical records
• Collaborating with AtlantiCare's care managers and hospitalists
• Providing care for patients admitted to AtlantiCare's two medical centers through hospitalist services

Requirements

• Current medical license in New Jersey
• Experience in primary care
• Strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
