Physician Practice RN Nursing Team Leader
Position Overview
The Physician Practice Lead RN provides clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care within the UHS physician practices. This role serves as a vital link between frontline staff and operational leadership, assisting in the promotion of excellence in clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The Lead RN fosters a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement—engaging patients, healthcare teams, and the broader community in the pursuit of optimal health outcomes. The RN is accountable for maintaining compliance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the Patient Bill of Rights.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience
Education/Experience
- Minimum requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least one year experience in an acute or ambulatory based care setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

National Certification
Clinical Ladder Nurse Level III
Licenses/Certifications
- Current NY State RN license.
- Documentation of current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days employment.
