Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based treatment guidelines.
  • Delivers well care and manages chronic disease states in a team-centered approach.
  • Interacts with patients and families to keep them informed and engaged in their health care decisions.
  • Provides counseling, education, and resource information on wellness, prevention, and health maintenance.
  • Refers patients as appropriate for specialty care services and educational training.
  • Maintains and monitors accurate and timely documentation of patient encounter records.
  • Participates in improving access to care and efficiencies in care delivery.
  • Works with the process team to improve efficiencies and ensure “top of license” care.
  • Acts in a fiscally responsible manner, striving to deliver value to the patient.
  • Attends meetings and events regularly.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • Member of HonorHealth medical staff.
  • Board Certified or eligible.
  • Current State of Arizona or other compact state Medical license.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual-Spanish (Preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
