Physician – Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Seeking a BC/BE Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation/Physiatrist/Pain Management physician to join a multidisciplinary pain management team in a comprehensive pain care clinic. Responsibilities Include Assessing and diagnosing patients with chronic pain conditions such as musculoskeletal and neuropathic syndromes.Performing interventional procedures like epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, and radiofrequency ablations.Developing individualized treatment plans combining interventional and non-interventional approaches, including medication, physical therapy, and psychological support.Collaborating with healthcare professionals to create holistic pain management strategies.Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments accordingly.Staying current with advancements in pain management techniques.Providing patient education on pain conditions, treatments, and self-management.Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in ongoing professional development.Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Qualifications Include MD/DO from an accredited medical school.Active Maine medical license or ability to obtain one.Board Certified or Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Physiatry.Fellowship training in interventional pain management techniques.Active DEA license or ability to obtain one.
