Physician - Pediatrics: Pediatric Cardiology

About the Role

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Pediatric Physicians team at OU Health. This role focuses on providing specialized cardiac care to pediatric patients within our dedicated Pediatric Cardiology department.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with cardiac conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Provide consultations and follow-up care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in clinical research and educational activities to advance pediatric cardiology practices.

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Active medical license in the state of Oklahoma (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing pediatric cardiac conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions.
