Physician: Pediatrician: Developmental-Behavioral

About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at the Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) and Boston Medical Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join the faculty of our Division of Developmental-Behavior Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic assessment in a clinical academic medical center setting as well as a satellite clinic.
• Perform cognitive, achievement, early development, adaptive, behavior and/or autism evaluations.
• Provide long-term care coordination for children and families as appropriate.
• Provide mentorship and supervision to interdisciplinary trainees including an MCHB supported ACGME certified DBP fellowship.
• Engage and initiate in research projects as we are a DBPNet active site.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Division and Department.

Requirements

• Completed three year DBP Fellowship.
• Board certified/board eligible Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
• MA Licensed or eligible.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish, and other languages other than English, is highly desirable, but not required.

Skills

• Commitment to working clinically with underserved populations.
• Ability to engage in and initiate research projects.
