The desired candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. This position will serve as a full-time attending physician in the Emergency Department, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced academic medical center. The UK College of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine is a strong team of more than 147 people dedicated to advancing Kentucky health care together. Our department encompasses 58 faculty members, 12 staff members, and 77 clinical learners and providers, including 40 resident physicians and 37 advanced practice providers (APPs). Led by Professor and Chair Dr. Roger Humphries, the department houses the UK Makenna David Pediatric Emergency Center, under the leadership of Pediatric Medical Director Dr. Jaryd Zummer.
