About the role
The Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG) seeks an AP/CP board-certified pathologist with dermatopathology fellowship training for a full-time position. This role is ideal for pathologists interested in dermatopathology while maintaining strong general surgical pathology and cytology skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostic interpretation of general surgical pathology and cytology
- Dermatopathology sign-out consistent with fellowship training
- Intraoperative frozen section consultations
- Immediate assessment of cytology specimen adequacy
- Participation in tumor boards and selected organizational committees
- Serving as Clinical Medical Director for designated medical office laboratories
Requirements
This role requires an AP/CP board-certified pathologist with dermatopathology fellowship training. Minimal call and robust technical support are provided.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a strong background in both general surgical pathology and dermatopathology. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.

Pay
The pay range for this position is minimum $370,870 and maximum $436,317, based on years of experience and FTE.
