Description & Requirements
St. Luke’s Cancer Institute is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Palliative Care Physician to join their nationally recognized oncology team. This position plays a vital role in advancing the institute’s mission to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with serious and complex illnesses.
- Work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that includes oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other dedicated specialists.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans and provide expert palliative care consultation for oncology patients in the outpatient setting.
- Support patients and families in navigating complex medical decisions, symptom management, and goals of care.
- Educate staff, patients, and families on palliative care principles and best practices.
- Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational efforts.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- - Preferred: BC/BE in Palliative Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Idaho
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Preferred: Experience in palliative oncology care
