Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management Provider to join a growing team in Southern New Mexico.

This is a full-time, permanent position designed to expand access to Interventional Pain Management procedures and reduce opioid prescription.

The incoming physician will have access to a brand-new GE ultrasound, supporting high-quality, image-guided procedures.

Practice Highlights

  • Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Clinic Volume: Approximately 20-25 patients per day, with procedure frequency varying based on need.
  • Procedure Volume: Varies; Four procedural days weekly, block scheduling at onsite surgery center. OR available for higher risk patients.
  • Procedures Performed: Includes but is not limited to: Radiofrequency ablations, TOCS (Thoracic Outlet Compression Syndrome), Epidurals, Medial branch blocks etc.

EMR Systems

  • Athena (clinic)
  • Cerner (hospital); transitioning to Epic in March 2026

Ideal Candidate

  • MD or DO
  • Background in Anesthesia, will consider Neurology
  • Fellowship-trained in Pain Management
  • Spinal cord stimulator experience is ideal but not required
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced clinic and procedural schedule
