Join Team Tidelands and help people live better lives through better health! Tidelands Health, an affiliate of MUSC Health, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic surgeon to join an established, employed practice serving the Myrtle Beach region.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a thriving community on the South Carolina coast
- Full-time inpatient/outpatient practice opportunity due to volume growth
- Well-respected, established orthopedics program with nine orthopedic surgeons and six advanced practice providers
- Two acute-care hospitals and three outpatient practices
- Modern facilities, including 12 operating suites, advanced imaging equipment and a leading inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation network
- Rated high performing for hip replacement and knee replacement by US News & World Report
- Full specialty support for referrals, including a tertiary relationship with MUSC Health, South Carolina’s academic medical center

Requirements
- Minimum 1:7 call
- Rated high performing for hip replacement and knee replacement by US News & World Report
- One of the Top 20 places to live in the United States, as ranked by US News & World Report
- Cost of living below the national average
Qualifications
- Board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic surgeon
- Minimum 10 years of experience in orthopedic surgery
- Experience with joint replacement procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
