About the role
As a Level II Trauma center, Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state. You will join 4 Physicians in managing a combination of outpatient clinics and inpatient consults throughout Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Work in clinic managing outpatients
- Time is blocked on outpatient clinic schedule to manage inpatients
- Clinic is open Monday through Friday with physicians working four 10-hour shifts per week, seeing 8-12 patients per day
- No formal call schedule, however, primary oncologist must be available for questions after hours
- Combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults and procedures
Qualifications
- Competitive annual salary up to $740,000 with $80,000 incentive opportunity
- $15,000 annual on call stipend
