Physician Ohio State Heart and Vascular Memorial Health | Interventional Cardiologist/Structural Heart

Position Overview

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board-certified/ board-eligible interventional cardiologist with or without structural heart training to join an elite team of physicians at the assistant or associate professor rank at the Ohio State Heart and Vascular Memorial Health. The successful candidate will focus on both routine and complex coronary artery disease, including inpatient and outpatient consultative services, with a primary focus at the Memorial Health location and opportunity to practice complex coronary and structural cases at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Certified
  • Successful completion of a US-accredited cardiology fellowship
  • Eligible for an Ohio License
  • Clinical and extramurally funded research is desirable
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
  • Completion of a US-accredited cardiology fellowship
  • Eligibility for an Ohio medical license
  • Experience in complex coronary and structural heart interventions
  • Ability to teach and mentor residents and fellows

Pay

Salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.

The schedule will be determined based on the needs of the department and the individual’s qualifications.

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, comprised of over 60 cardiologists with focus areas to include: general cardiology, interventional, electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, heart failure, heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory assist, pulmonary vascular disease, women’s cardiovascular disease, cardiac MRI/CT, and cardio-oncology.
