About the role
The Interventional Cardiologist Physician will join a team of 4 Interventional Cardiologists, 3 EPs, 2 Noninvasive Cardiologists, 1 CHF specialist, and 5 NPs. The position offers hands-on experience in diverse procedures such as TAVRs, Watchman implants, pulmonary embolism interventions, and more.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced coronary interventions including coronary angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy to provide STEMI call coverage.
- Consult for cardiovascular assessments within 10+ hours of requests.
- Participate in STEMI call/group call coverage.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular diagnosis, assessment, intervention, and patient care management.
- Knowledgeable regarding a Cardiologist Physician's scope of practice.
- Experience performing and interpreting ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac catheterization results.
- Mandatory experience in advanced coronary interventions.
- Ability to consult for cardiovascular assessments within 10+ hours of requests.
- STEMI call/group call coverage.
- Experience Current California Medical license.
- Graduate from an accredited Medical School.
- Graduate from an accredited Internal Medicine Residency program.
- Graduate from an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program.
- Board Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- Subspecialty Certification from the American Board of Cardiology.
- Board certified or board eligible.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable regarding a Cardiologist Physician's scope of practice.
- Experience performing and interpreting ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac catheterization results.
- Mandatory experience in advanced coronary interventions including coronary angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy to provide STEMI call coverage.
- Preferred experience in additional advanced interventional procedures such as peripheral arterial and venous interventions, structural heart interventions, and aortic endovascular interventions.
- Ability to consult for cardiovascular assessments within 10+ hours of requests.
- STEMI call/group call coverage.
