Physician, Obstetrics & Gynecology - OB/GYN

About the role

MaineHealth – Waldo Hospital and Pen Bay Hospital are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join their regional Women’s Health practice serving the Mid Coast Maine communities of Belfast and Rockport.

Responsibilities

• Join 5 full time OB/GYN physicians
• Supported by a full team of Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
• Call is 1 in 5 and can be taken from home
• Midwives take first call for all obstetric patients and manage the vast majority of pregnancy care, labor and delivery
• Experienced nursing and clinical support staff
• Strong collaboration across the regional Women’s Health program
• Technology & Resources: Robotic surgery available, fully integrated Epic EMR access to MaineHealth’s comprehensive clinical resources
• Practice Environment: Full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology, strong patient relationships in community based care, supportive leadership and collegial provider team

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Maine medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain
