About the role
ChristianaCare is recruiting a BE/BC OB/GYN Laborist for its Newark Campus in Delaware. The laborist role offers a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with an obstetrical team that includes residents and employed midwives. The academic community medical center is ranked No. 42 in the nation for obstetrics and gynecology by U.S. News & World Report. ChristianaCare focuses on improving community health through engagement with partners and research with the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development's Maternal‑Fetal Medicine Network, including programs such as remote patient monitoring, Food Farmacy, integration of community health workers, and the Center for Women's Emotional Wellness. The position is supported by Gynecologic Oncology and Urogynecology services. The newly expanded Center for Women's & Children's Health is an eight‑story, 400,000‑square‑foot tower at Christiana Hospital featuring a state‑of‑the‑art NICU with private rooms and sleep‑in space for families, “couplet care,” expanded labor and delivery suites, an enlarged OB/GYN emergency services area, a new labor lounge, and a spacious multi‑level Ronald McDonald Room for families of infants in intensive care.

Pay
Annual compensation range: $283,775.00 – $358,788.00 (full‑time). The actual offer will be based on factors such as fair market value, experience, education, training, credentials, and qualifications.
Schedule
12, 12‑hour shifts per 28‑day block. Shifts are scheduled on Labor and Delivery and the OB ED.
