About the role
PRN OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician provides inpatient OB/GYN coverage, GYN emergency care for unassigned patients, and inpatient GYN consults within a team-based environment. The role involves participating in a collaborative, academic setting with responsibilities supporting patient-centered OB care through models like TeamBirth. The position offers flexible, shift-based work, including 24-hour shifts, with potential for part-time or PRN engagement.
Responsibilities
- delivering high-quality inpatient OB/GYN care
- conducting GYN ED assessments
- performing inpatient GYN consults
- supporting team efforts using Epic EMR
- teamwork
- teaching residents and medical students
- adhering to mission-driven, patient-centered care principles
Qualifications
- board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physicians
- experience in inpatient obstetrics and gynecology preferred
