Physician - Obstetrics & Gynecology

About the role

Opelousas General Health System is seeking two dedicated Full-Time OB/GYNs to join their skilled team. They are open to employment or independent practice models, taking call with (3) additional independent OBs.

Responsibilities

• Supportive Team - Lactation Consultant, Breast Health Navigator, Nutritionist, & more!
• Clinic Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-12pm
• 1:4/5 Unassigned Call
• Level 1 Nursery 13 Bed Unit
• DaVinci Xl robot available
• Health System Deliveries: 600-800 per year
• 50/50 OB & GYN (access to several blocks per week for OR time)

Requirements

Residents/Fellows are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

Pay

• Employed Physician Incentives: 30 Days of Paid Time Off, 5 days of Extended Illness Time and 5 CME days per year
