Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the role

MaineHealth Coastal Region Mid Coast and Lincoln Hospitals are seeking a full-time OB/GYN Physician to join a growing team of Women’s Health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Grow an office practice at our Lincoln clinic 1-2 days per week and our Mid Coast clinic 1-2 days per weekOR time: 1 OR day per week
• Provide call coverage at Mid Coast Family Birth Unit with a maximum call commitment of 1:6 and a midwife on call simultaneously for support and C section first assist on Labor & Delivery
• Offer inpatient obstetrical and gynecologic surgery services, as well as full-scope OB/GYN care
• Provide family planning services, conception and infertility counseling, care during and after pregnancy, and gynecologic care for conditions such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids, and endometriosis, as well as perimenopause and menopause related conditions

Requirements

• Maine Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
• Board Certification / Board Eligibility
• At least 2 years of experience in full-scope OB/GYN care preferred

• Full spectrum OB/GYN including obstetrics and gynecologicsurgery
