About the Role
This position is located in Martinsburg, WV, the fastest growing city in eastern West Virginia. The area offers an easy drive to Washington, DC, while maintaining the serenity of small-town living, along with recreational, cultural, and arts activities. War Memorial Park hosts swimming, entertainment, and fairs throughout the year.
This is the only hospital delivering babies in the region, serving a population of over 200,000. The role involves a high-risk obstetric population with on-site neonatology support and a busy NICU. Anesthesia is available on the floor at all times, with OR access for surgical cases. You’ll work within a collaborative team including midwives and family medicine OB support, and have academic affiliation with faculty appointment and teaching opportunities.
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling with 24-hour or 12-hour shifts available
- Full-time physicians work 7–8 shifts per month; part-time work 3 shifts per month
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible OB-GYN
- DEA required
