Physician - Obesity Medicine (Bariatrician)

Full-time clinical role with a well-established patient base and an established referral system.
Work alongside a dedicated bariatric surgery team in an integrated care model setting.
Part of an MBSAQIP-accredited center committed to excellence in metabolic and bariatric care.

Desired Requirements
- ABOM (American Board of Obesity Medicine) certification
- MD or DO with active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical background in obesity medicine and medical weight management
- Knowledge of pre- and post-operative medical management for bariatric surgery patients
- Familiarity with accreditation standards and quality improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical weight management services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing care
- Collaborate with bariatric surgeons and clinical team members to deliver coordinated care
- Manage pre-operative optimization and post-operative medical follow-up for surgical patients
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement activities
- Contribute to maintaining MBSAQIP accreditation standards
