Physician - OB/GYN Hospitalist (Part-Time)

About the role

Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join a dedicated team of MDs, NPs, and CNMs in a growing community with approximately 1,300 deliveries annually. As a Hospitalist, you will provide 24/7 in-house obstetric coverage for labor & delivery, triage, and emergency OB care, including management of high‑risk pregnancies, obstetric emergencies, and unassigned/ED patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal deliveries, operative vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections as primary surgeon
• Collaborate with midwives, community OB/GYNs, anesthesia, pediatrics, and nursing to ensure safe, patient‑centered care
• Respond to OB/GYN consults from hospital departments
• Evaluate gynecologic issues
• Round on post‑op patients
• Perform credentialed minor GYN procedures such as D&C, diagnostic laparoscopy, and management of early pregnancy loss/ectopic pregnancy

Requirements

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in OB/GYN

Skills

• Management of high‑risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies
• Proficiency in vaginal, operative vaginal, and cesarean deliveries
• Ability to perform minor GYN procedures (D&C, diagnostic laparoscopy, early pregnancy loss/ectopic management)
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (midwives, community OB/GYNs, anesthesia, pediatrics, nursing)
• Effective communication for OB/GYN consults and post‑op rounding

Pay

The compensation is $218,129 for 0.6 FTE, with potential bonuses and incentives.

Schedule

The schedule includes weekday and weekend 24‑hour call shifts.
