OB/GYN Hospitalist (Part-Time)

Job Summary

You will join the growing Obstetrics and Gynecology Team at Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican, contributing to improving health outcomes for women and families. You will have the unique opportunity to define your own work-life balance through a rare level of practice autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care for unassigned or emergent patients in a hospital setting.
• Manage labor and delivery, perform surgical procedures including C-sections, and address acute gynecological conditions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including midwives, nurses, and anesthesiologists, to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Respond to obstetrical emergencies and consults from the emergency department, providing timely and expert medical intervention.

Requirements

• Board-certified or Board-eligible MD or DO in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Active or eligible license in the state of California.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred

• Preferred Spanish proficiency.
