About the role
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Division of Nuclear Medicine/Molecular Imaging & Radiotheranostics is growing! We are seeking an exceptional nuclear radiologist to join our team in a full-time faculty position.
Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
- Contribute to the educational mission of the department through lectures, seminars, and workshops.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency training program and fellowship as appropriate.
- Eligibility for, or in possession of, Kentucky Medical License, and DEA license.
- ABR eligible or ABR certification.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. Equivalent.
