Mercy Clinic in Joplin, MO is seeking a full-time Non‑Invasive Cardiologist to join a busy, well‑established practice. The cardiology team includes four interventional (one structural), two electrophysiology, two non‑invasive cardiologists, and seven nurse practitioners—including one dedicated to the Heart Failure clinic and dedicated inpatient NP support. The program is housed in a 240‑bed hospital built in 2015 with state‑of‑the‑art facilities and equipment. The position offers an integrated health system, a competitive compensation model, and strong outreach that provides a large catchment area for patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a full schedule of clinic visits.
• Interpret noninvasive studies: EKG, echo, stress test, nuclear medicine stress, vascular ultrasound, event monitors, and Holters.
• Provide call coverage averaging 5‑7 days per month, every 6th or 7th weekend.
• Participate in community outreach efforts alongside physicians and NPs.
• Contribute to the heart failure and inpatient NP‑supported heart program.
